Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with commercial real estate developers and investors
  • Participating in industry-related events and conferences
  • Creating and implementing a clear market coverage strategy to drive origination volume
  • Mentoring and assisting junior team members
  • Working with the team on credit papers, transaction reviews, financial modeling, market surveys, tenant credit analysis, and analyzing third-party reports

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate investment
  • Bachelor's degree required, with Real Estate, Business, or Finance major preferred
  • Strong network of contacts among owners, developers, brokers, financiers, and others active in Australian real estate markets
  • Sophisticated financial skills, quantitative underwriting skills, and capital markets perspective
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to effectively negotiate
