Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of a laboratory's construction materials testing operations.

  • Ensuring the day-to-day running of the laboratory is conducted in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Managing product quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Regular inspections and calibration of test equipment.
  • Providing technical assistance and training to laboratory technicians and field testers.
  • Assisting with the development of concrete mixes and quarry product range.
Requirements

For this role, we are seeking an experienced laboratory supervisor who possesses strong leadership skills and has the ability to mentor and develop staff.

  • Experience in construction materials testing, or a related field.
  • Good people management skills.
  • NATA Signatory with high level of competence and understanding of AS/TfNSW standards and knowledge of NATA ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or science, or relevant certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Collaborative and innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Competency with relevant technical systems.
