About the Role- You will be responsible for leading laboratory operations in NSW, ensuring safe working practices and managing product quality.
- Your expertise will be essential in maintaining NATA accreditation and ISO 9001 compliance for the manufacture of concrete and quarry products.
- Supervise construction materials testing operations in NSW laboratories.
- Ensure adherence to safe working systems and procedures at all times.
- Manage product quality and compliance to specifications and standards.
- Regularly inspect and calibrate test equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and training to laboratory technicians & field testers per approved procedures and test methods.
- Assist with the development of concrete mixes and quarry product range.
- Maintain laboratory NATA accreditation and quality compliance to ISO 9001 for the manufacture of concrete and quarry products.
- 5+ years' experience in construction materials testing with strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
- NATA Signatory with solid understanding of AS/TfNSW standards and NATA ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering/science or Cert IV/Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (an advantage).
- Excellent customer service and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Command (concrete), QestMix, QestLab, and basic SAP.
