Strategic Planning Executive

We are seeking a passionate and collaborative leader to join our team as an Executive in Strategic Planning. This is an exciting opportunity to drive sustainable growth and development while shaping the future of our community.

The successful candidate will lead our strategic planning and environment functions, delivering high-profile initiatives that leverage growth and investment in infrastructure.

  • Develop and implement a strategic framework for sustainable growth and development that reflects our unique characteristics and community needs.
  • Manage reports and submissions to Council, overseeing policy, compliance, and budget items across the group.

About this role:

This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive remuneration package, including salary, motor vehicle component, and superannuation.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the City's strategic planning and environment functions to deliver the community's long-term vision.

  • Develop and implement Council's long-term land-use planning framework and environmental management programs.

  • National Police History Check
  • Working with Children Check (WWC) clearance for paid workers
