The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting water and gas utility infrastructure projects throughout Northeastern Ohio. This role is suitable for early to mid-career engineers with a passion for utility infrastructure development, project management, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support utility infrastructure projects involving water and gas line replacements, upgrades, and new development support
  • Coordinate and manage the permitting process and municipal procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, municipalities, and internal teams to ensure project continuity
  • Conduct site visits within the region (local travel only) to monitor project progress
  • Collaborate with design teams and review engineering packages (AutoCAD familiarity preferred)
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and client expectations
  • Support basic capital improvement projects related to new housing and commercial developments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in water, gas, or electric utility projects
  • Familiarity with municipal permitting processes and basic project management principles
  • AutoCAD experience preferred (not a heavy design role)
  • Strong communication skills, especially in client and municipal coordination
