Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Utility Locator to join a high-performing team working across a wide range of civil, construction, and infrastructure projects throughout Western Australia.
This is a hands-on field role where you'll be responsible for the safe and accurate location of underground utilities.
Youll play a crucial role in helping protect vital infrastructure, reduce risk, and support successful project delivery for clients across the state.Whether you're experienced or looking to grow your career in the field, this opportunity offers strong job security, excellent earning potential, and access to industry-leading tools and training.Ensure Conduct on-site utility locating using electromagnetic (EM) and ground-penetrating all work is performed safely and in accordance with regulatory and company standardsIdentify and mark out underground services including power, water, gas, sewer, and communicationsInterpret utility plans and site drawings to assist with accurate detectionCommunicate findings clearly with clients, site supervisors, and project teamsCompany standardsMaintain and care for locating equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliabilityComplete daily reporting and digital documentation of findingsParticipate in safety briefings and ongoing skills trainingRadar (GPR)QualificationsPrevious experience in utility locating or a related field (preferred)Valid Drivers Licence (manual licence preferred)Construction White CardGood communication skills and attention to detail strong safety mindset and ability to work independentlyCert III/IV in Utility Locating or DBYD Certified Locator (advantageous but not essential)Experience with GPR, confined space, or gas detection (a plus)Previous experience in utility locating or a related field (preferred)Why Is This a Great Opportunity$5,000 sign-on bonus (conditions apply)Fully maintained company vehicleAll fuel, servicing, insurance, and registration coveredPaid overtime at 1.5x and 2.0x ratesCompany-funded training and certificationsQuarterly performance bonusesPPE and new boots suppliedHealth & wellbeing support including gym subsidy and annual checkupsLong-term career growth in a stable, growing industrySalary Type : Annual SalarySalary Min : A$ 80000Salary Max : A$ 100000Currency Type : AUD
