Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Subsurface Utility Locator to conduct thorough investigations and provide accurate utility information. As an expert in locating hidden infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Utility Investigations: Utilize advanced electromagnetic and ground-penetrating radar equipment to detect and map underground utilities.
  • Interpret Utility Plans: Analyze existing documentation to inform field investigations and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with clients and project teams to understand requirements and provide precise utility data.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Document findings through detailed reports, sketches, and digital records, adhering to industry standards.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions to maintain expertise.
  • Operate Equipment: Ensure all locating equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate results.

What You'll Need
  • Certloc Locator certification (or willingness to train)
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • First Aid & CPR certification (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's Licence

  • Western Power, ATCO & APA certifications (preferred)
