Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Power Systems group, you will be responsible for the design and development of high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on creating detailed designs and drafts of transmission and distribution systems, substations, and associated equipment layouts.

In this role, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and constructible solutions across utility, industrial, and renewable energy projects. Your expertise will help shape the backbone of sustainable infrastructure nationwide.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-voltage electrical infrastructure, including transmission and distribution systems, substations, and associated equipment layouts;
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery;
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards;
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, reports, and presentations to support project execution;
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in high-voltage electrical infrastructure design and development;
  • Strong understanding of HV equipment, substation layouts, and design principles;
  • Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools, including AutoCAD and MicroStation;
  • Familiarity with drawing control processes and site teams' design clarification requirements;
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and commitment to safety.
