Evolve Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Associate to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing technical expertise in licensing and regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document compliance with ARPANSA license conditions and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collate information and prepare periodic reports to regulatory authorities.
  • Facilitate and coordinate timely responses to regulatory issues and ensure effective control and integration of safety and licensing activities.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Business Management System.
  • Ensure quarterly reports and other required information is prepared and submitted in accordance with the license.
  • Maintain safety documentation consistent with safety and licensing requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise in licensing and regulatory issues.
  • Coordinate responses to safety and licensing issues raised by ARPANSA and other Commonwealth regulators.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Strong understanding of analytical, technical, and general engineering terms.
  • Experience with safety management systems and safety/risk assessment methodologies and processes.
  • Technical writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Reliable and deadline-driven with project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Solid understanding of AS 4801 safety management, ISO 9001 quality management, and ISO 14001 environmental management principles.
  • Experience using database software for reporting requirements.
