Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and document compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collate information and prepare periodic reports to regulatory authorities.
- Facilitate and coordinate responses to regulatory issues and ensure effective control and integration of safety and licensing activities.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Business Management Systems (BMS).
- Ensure timely submission of reports and information required under regulatory licenses.
- Maintain safety documentation consistent with safety and licensing requirements.
- Provide technical expertise on licensing and regulatory issues.
- Coordinate responses to safety and licensing issues raised by regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Science.
- Strong understanding of analytical, technical, and general engineering terms.
- Experience with safety management systems and safety/risk assessment methodologies and processes.
- Experience with technical writing, including attention to detail.
- Reliable and deadline-driven with project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of AS 4801 safety management, ISO 9001 quality management, and ISO 14001 environmental management principles.
- Experience using database software for reporting requirements.
