Job OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Food Services Assistant to join our team at one of our homes in Wangaratta. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the implementation and monitoring of our Food Safety Program, as well as providing quality food and beverages to meet the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to menu planning to ensure the dietary needs of our residents are met.
- Prepare, serve, and present food and refreshments in accordance with our Food Safety Program.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and record temperature readings and receipt goods as required.
- Deliver meals and refreshments to residents in a timely and friendly manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Food Handling Course certification.
- A current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Experience working in residential aged care food services.
