We are seeking a dedicated and experienced culinary professional to lead our catering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food services, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Chef Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Managing the catering department's daily operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management;
  • Leading a team of food services personnel to ensure excellent service delivery;
  • Implementing and maintaining the Food Safety Program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Maintaining accurate records of food safety practices and audits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification;
  • Experience in residential aged care, people management, and hospitality;
  • Computer literacy skills and proficiency in food handling and safety practices;
  • A current Food Safety Supervisors Certificate and National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include competitive pay incentives, not-for-profit salary packaging, and a $5,000 retention bonus after one year of service.
