Job Title: Migration Agent/Migration Lawyer

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified professional to join our dynamic team in the capacity of Migration Agent/Migration Lawyer. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on suitable visa options and assessing their eligibility based on their unique personal and professional circumstances.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, organise and submit complete visa applications in accordance with Department of Home Affairs requirements.
  • Manage ongoing communication with the Department of Home Affairs, including responding to requests, monitoring application statuses and providing timely updates to clients.
  • Assist clients in visa appeal or review processes before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT), including the preparation of arguments and supporting documents.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Australian migration laws, policy updates and procedural changes to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Migration Agent.
  • A Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law and Practice.
  • Successful completion of the Capstone Assessment.
  • Current registration with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).
  • An in-depth understanding of visa categories, migration legislation and Department of Home Affairs procedures.
  • A strong knowledge of skills assessment processes across various professions and industries.
