Our organisation is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage high volumes of work and competing priorities, with the ability to deliver work of high quality to agreed standards and timeframes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including team members, managers and external parties.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, maintaining records and coordinating logistics.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated work experience in a project, management or business administration role.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and levels of seniority.
  • High integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to achieving positive results and supporting our organisational priorities.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or an industry recognised certification in Management, Business Administration, Project Management or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated work experience providing administrative support for a program/project in a federal government context.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in Agile ways of working, such as SCRUM or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Knowledge of IT tools, including MS Suite, electronic record management system and Azure DevOps.
  • Workforce management skills, particularly in the Indigo Build Delivery section.
