We're currently expanding and looking for dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Support Workers to join our team.

Job Description

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants based on their individual support plans and personal goals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication administration/assistance, and domestic duties
  • Providing support such as Catheter Care, PEG Feeding, Bowel Care, and Hoisting to participants needing high-intensity support
  • Transporting participants to appointments and community outings using your vehicle
  • Providing 24-hour support to participants living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, including inactive sleepover shifts, and weekend coverage
  • Supporting clients to engage in community activities, appointments, and social outings
  • Promoting participants' independence and choice through capacity-building activities
  • Implementing behaviour support strategies (where applicable and trained)
  • Providing shift note reports and incident reports

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant experience working in a disability support setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
