Job Title: Justice Officer

Overview:

We are seeking a Justice Officer to provide a range of services including warehouse, finance support, purchasing, procurement, stock/inventory control, and general prison/prisoner services administration.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct prisoner contact and supervision.
  • Serve prisoners within prisoner shops/canteens.
  • Order and receipt stock, maintain minimum stock levels, and shop lists.
  • Ensure security of shop stock, conduct stocktaking and stock-control, and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Under the direction of the Team Leader – Justice Officers, provide Stores & Finance services.
  2. Supervise prisoner workers in shops/canteens.
  3. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory control.
  4. Conduct regular stocktakes and ensure security of shop stock.
Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Well-developed computer literacy and experience with finance-related systems.
  • Understanding of shop, store, and warehousing operations, including associated stock management.
