Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Prisoner Transport Coordinator, as part of our Sentence Management Operations team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective transfer of prisoners throughout Victoria.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to collate data on prisoner movements, identify trends and blockages, and provide recommendations to drive organisational service delivery and planning.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with senior managers to ensure that people in custody are transferred to their classified locations in an appropriate manner, enabling them to engage in programs and services designed to support their rehabilitation.

Sentence Management Operations is responsible for identifying prisoners' needs and matching them to correctional resources with the objective of placing and managing people in custody appropriately. We aim to balance security, management, and the needs of those in our custody, while also protecting the community and delivering efficient and effective operations.
