Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned stormwater engineer to join our design team. This role contributes to creating a liveable and sustainable community through the design of stormwater infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing allocated civil designs and tasks in accordance with professional engineering standards.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Completing allocated civil designs and tasks
  • Providing input into strategic documents such as reviews of environmental policies
  • Preparing technical stormwater documents and providing expertise to stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in stormwater management infrastructure design and cost estimation
  • Demonstrated experience in civil stormwater engineering with a focus on water sensitive urban design
  • Experience in managing financial budgets and forecasting
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
  • At least 5 years' experience with GIS packages and Microsoft Office; design experience with AutoCAD and water engineering applications such as DRAINS and HEC-RAS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to stormwater management
