Food Service Professional

Provide exceptional customer service to guests by welcoming and greeting them, taking orders, and delivering service according to the hotel's standards.
Key Tasks:- Meet and greet guests upon arrival;
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently;
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely manner;
- Manage your own section or area, ensuring it is well maintained and stocked;
- Ensure the highest cleaning and presentation standards are maintained by a well-prepared mise en place.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Skills:- Current and valid RSA certificate in South Australia;
- Previous experience working in a quality establishment is desirable but not essential;
- Proven excellent customer service skills;
- Commitment to continuous learning and development, demonstrated by being fully immersed with the menu, its flavors, and dietaries of all dishes;
- Understanding of wine regions, local spirits, wine makers, and distillers is desirable;
- Immaculate grooming and presentation;
- Approachable nature; able to show your true self while remaining professional;
- Able to manage a given section during service periods;
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure;
- Holds current and valid Australian working rights, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Previous experience working in a similar role;
- Knowledge of local wine regions and spirits;
- Fluency in multiple languages.
