Pump Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pump Technician to join our team. As a Pump Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the duties of a Service Fitter in an ethical manner and always acting in the best interests of the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rotating equipment repair, including pumps, and will possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet internal and external requirements and contribute to the growth of our service activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily service activities, including internal/external repairs and warranty assessments.
  • Conduct assessments of pumps and equipment.
  • Ensure completed jobs meet acceptable standards before being dispatched.
  • Maintain service equipment, including forklift vehicles, cranes, and specialist equipment, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Liaise with other staff members to ensure the business operates smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in Fitting (electrical or mechanical).
  • Disconnect/reconnect restricted electrical preferred.
  • Confined space certification.
  • Valid car license.
  • Forklift license.
  • Experience in pump repairs, including Progressive Cavity pumps.
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and travel as required.
