We are looking for a Pump Service Fitter based in Kirrawee, NSW 2232. You will be working for a global manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and pump parts. They have a wide product range suitable for the pumping of fluids within the waste water, chemical, food, beverage, paper, mining, mineral processing, marine, agricultural, and oil and gas sectors. We are seeking a self-starter, motivated, outgoing individual who takes pride in their work. The candidate should have a strong team focus but also be capable of working autonomously and using initiative to complete tasks. Good computer skills and the ability to learn quickly are essential.

Hours: 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.

You will join a close-knit maintenance team based in the Southern Sydney Area. The team has extensive knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance and offers training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.

This full-time role involves both workshop and onsite servicing and repairs of pumps and rotating equipment across various industries.

Key duties include:

  • Pump repair and assessment
  • Assisting with daily service activities including internal/external repairs, warranties, and assessments
  • Testing and troubleshooting
  • Component restoration work
  • Preparing report documentation

Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of pressure systems, submersible stormwater and sewage pumps is advantageous
  • Experience with electric motors is also beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to enhance internal communication
  • Highly motivated with good planning, scheduling, and time management skills
  • Commitment to adhering to company Quality and WHSE policies and procedures
  • Willingness to work overtime as required

Education / Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter (electrical or mechanical)
  • Restricted electrical disconnect/reconnect certification preferred
  • Confined Space ticket
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
