Job Summary

This rural generalist position offers a unique opportunity for podiatrists to gain diverse clinical experience in various settings.

The role involves rotating across different teams and clinical areas, providing podiatry services in acute hospital care, community, and outreach settings.

Regular clinical supervision and mentoring are provided, with dedicated time for professional development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a diverse clinical skillset by rotating across different teams and clinical areas.
  • Provide high-quality podiatry services across clinical settings, including acute hospital care, community, and outreach services.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and mentoring sessions.
  • Develop a Quality Improvement Project with support from senior staff.
  • Pursue further study in rural generalist practice (e.g., James Cook University Rural Generalist Level 1).
Requirements
  • Current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
  • Interest in rural health and improving outcomes for people in rural communities.
  • Motivated, flexible, and committed to patient well-being and outcomes.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based assessments and treatments.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW.
