Podiatrist Career Development Opportunity

This 2-year program is designed to support newly graduated podiatrists in gaining diverse clinical experience in rural settings, through rotations across various teams and clinical areas.

Skillset Development:

  • Rotations across different teams and clinical areas to build a comprehensive skillset.
  • Delivery of podiatry services across diverse clinical settings, including acute hospital care, community, and outreach services.
  • Development of a Quality Improvement Project with guidance from senior staff.

Clinical Experience:

  • Rural generalist practice experience, encompassing rotations across teams and clinical areas.
  • Opportunity to pursue further study in rural generalist practice.

Requirements:

  • Current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
  • A genuine interest in rural health and improving outcomes for people in rural communities.
  • Motivation, flexibility, and commitment to patient well-being and outcomes.
