Occupational Therapist Opportunities in Rural Healthcare

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for Occupational Therapists looking to make a difference in rural communities. As an early career Occupational Therapist, you will join our team and gain diverse clinical experience while living and working in rural areas.

You will work across different teams and clinical areas, building upon your knowledge and experiences, becoming a true generalist with sought after clinical skills. With regular clinical supervision and mentoring opportunities, you will be supported to grow professionally and implement quality improvement projects.

The Rural Generalist Program offers a unique two-year program with layers of support for early career Occupational Therapists. You will participate in monthly journal clubs and multidisciplinary education sessions, as well as complete further study in rural generalist practice through the James Cook University Rural generalist level 1 course.
