Responsibilities
  • Rotate across different teams and clinical areas to build a diverse clinical skillset.
  • Provide podiatry services across clinical settings, including acute hospital care, community, and outreach services.
  • Receive regular clinical supervision and mentoring, with dedicated time for professional development (including monthly journal clubs and multidisciplinary education).
  • Develop a Quality Improvement Project with support from senior staff.
  • Opportunity to pursue further study in rural generalist practice (e.g., James Cook University Rural Generalist Level 1).
Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic podiatrist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
  • Interest in rural health and improving outcomes for people in rural communities.
  • Motivated, flexible, and committed to patient well‑being and outcomes.
  • Keen to build a diverse clinical skillset and learn in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Committed to evidence‑based assessments and treatments.
  • Willing to participate in team projects and service development.
  • Eligible to drive in NSW.
