Job Title: Account Manager – Industrial Sector

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to take ownership of our industrial sector territory. As an account manager, you will drive sales growth by delivering and exceeding sales targets, building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting products and services to maximise sales potential.

The Role:

  • You will manage sales and relationships across the ACT in a fully autonomous account management role.
  • Your responsibilities include delivering and exceeding sales targets, building strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting products and services to maximise sales potential.
  • You will also be responsible for resolving customer issues efficiently and professionally, collaborating across different business units and teams to drive sales performance, and ensuring tenders, quotes, and credit management meet company standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver and exceed sales targets through a structured customer contact plan.
  2. Build and nurture strong relationships to secure loyalty and repeat business.
  3. Identify and convert new business and project opportunities.
  4. Promote a range of products and services to maximise sales potential.
  5. Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
  6. Collaborate across different business units and teams to drive sales performance.
  7. Ensure tenders, quotes, and credit management meet company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in construction, heavy industrial, or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your time independently.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Salesforce, and other relevant systems is required.
