Job Title: Senior Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Senior Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key retailer relationships and driving business growth through strategic planning and account management.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian retail landscape and experience working with major retailers in the beauty and personal care industry. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with buying, marketing, and operations teams, as well as leading negotiations and resolving conflicts to drive mutual growth.

You will also be responsible for ensuring all retailer requirements are met, including purchase order management, data reporting, pricing updates, and product set-up on retailer portals. Additionally, you will lead the end-to-end process of line reviews, including pitch meetings, shelf modular planning, admin on retailer portal/forms, set up, and NPD forecasting.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners to shape business plans, define account vision, and establish growth building blocks. You will also collaborate with leadership to build strategic decks for market meetings and present information and strategy for business advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Builiding and maintaining strong relationships with key retailers
  • Leading negotiations and resolving conflicts to drive mutual growth
  • Ensuring all retailer requirements are met
  • Leading the end-to-end process of line reviews
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to shape business plans and establish growth building blocks
Requirements:
  • 4+ years in Account Management or Category Management (brand or vendor side)
  • Experience working directly with major Australian retailers is essential (preference for Beauty & Personal Care but open to other categories)
  • Passion in beauty & personal care including the beauty landscape in Australia
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills (ie Pivot Table, VLookup, business math like growth and margin); ability to interpret data and create actionable insights
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present strategy and ideas to key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
