Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Support Officer to join our team at the Department of Justice. As a key member of our registry services team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our court registry operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general administrative and clerical functions associated with the day-to-day operations of the court registry.
  • Comply with any reasonable directions given by senior officers in the court registry.
  • Entry, retrieval and searching of information and events from the case management system of the court registry.
  • Receiving, vetting and issuing documentation lodged in the court registry.
  • Responding to general counter and telephone enquiries.
  • Collection, sorting and distribution of mail.
  • Archiving of records.
  • Assist the listing clerk with the maintenance of court diaries.
  • Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time.

Requirements

  • Relevant administrative experience and skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
