Searson Buck is partnering with a leading funeral industry company to fill a Funeral Administrator position.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide essential support to families during one of life's most challenging times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist families with funeral arrangements, ensuring all their needs are met with sensitivity and care
  • Manage and organise funeral service schedules, liaising with various stakeholders including funeral directors, florists, and other vendors
  • Handle administrative tasks including documentation, invoicing, and records management
  • Maintain client files and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times
  • Provide exceptional customer service, guiding families through the process with empathy and professionalism
  • Support funeral directors in the planning and coordination of funeral services

Key Skills:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and able to support grieving families
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in general administrative functions
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within the funeral industry is an advantage but not essential
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
  • A positive, warm and friendly disposition
