Training and Assessment Specialist
">About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Training and Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a Trainer and Assessor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality language, literacy, and numeracy training programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evaluating training programs, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate reporting to meet government contract requirements and national standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver engaging and client-focused language, literacy, and numeracy training using adult learning principles and a variety of methodologies.
Conduct diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of client progress.
Develop and validate tools and resources that align with program and learner needs.
Foster learner engagement through real-world, project-based learning and innovative use of technology.
Maintain accurate records of training delivery and ensure compliance with privacy and reporting requirements.
Continuously improve professional knowledge and skills through training, curriculum development, and the adoption of new technologies.
A Bachelor of Education or equivalent and postgraduate qualifications in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Adult LLN (e.g., Grad Dip TESOL).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualifications required by ASQA.
Demonstrated teaching capability and recent experience delivering client-focused education.
Proficiency in using classroom technology and an ability to integrate innovative tools into teaching.
Skilled in conducting assessments using nationally accredited curricula (e.g., CGEA, FSK, CSWE) and frameworks (e.g., ACSF).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in multicultural learning environments.
