Cloud Solutions Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Integration and Automation team in Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, delivery, and optimisation of cloud-based solutions that enable business transformation. This includes selecting appropriate Azure and SaaS-based services, ensuring compliance with governance and security standards, and driving measurable outcomes through solution effectiveness, adoption rates, and cost optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of cloud solutions from design to support.
  • Deliver robust, scalable, and cost-effective architectural designs.
  • Develop governance frameworks for risk assessment and compliance.
  • Promote change within the organisation and find innovative solutions.
  • Translate strategy into architecture plans with clear value outcomes.
  • Evaluate and recommend AI-driven cloud capabilities.
  • Conduct reviews to track outcomes against KPIs.
  • Communicate ideas clearly and balance different perspectives.
  • Mentor and upskill engineers and IT teams.
  • Contribute to the development of architecture standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and delivery.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex cloud projects on time and budget.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
