This Pre-Contracts Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join a national contracting organisation that is expanding its presence in Australia.
Established in NSW, the company is growing year on year, currently turning over around $500M.
Their projects range from $1M - $50M in the water treatment, remediation, and contaminated land sectors.
The role offers security, a top-end salary, career progression, and a path into the executive leadership team of the company.
The RoleProvide commercial input into bid strategies.
Focus on the bidding and tendering of water and civil utility infrastructure projects.
Report directly to the Managing Director with a functional reporting line to the GM.
Complete commercial/contractual qualification schedules.
Develop winning bid strategies, bid preparation, bid management, and ongoing design management support through project delivery.
Oversee tendering resources to ensure full utilisation.
Provide commercial oversight of bids to ensure they meet the required risk profile of the business.
Complete tender peer reviews.
Support ongoing profitable growth by winning new programs and projects and supporting the profitable delivery of projects won.
Provide lead guidance and coordination of the negotiation and finalisation of contract terms and conditions, consistent with the bid risk profile.
Conduct margin, KPI, and contract performance reviews and client relationship reviews.
Assist with any contract disputes.
Essential Skills and Experience Required- 10+ years of experience in the management of tenders/bids for civil infrastructure projects.
- Previous project commercial/contract administration experience onsite.
- Solid risk management experience with the ability to assist in evaluating identified risks/opportunities and development of agreed strategies and management plans to mitigate risk.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
