As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading construction teams to achieve successful project completion.
">- Provide leadership and guidance in construction planning to minimize risk and maximize business performance.
- Coordinate on-site construction activities related to the installation of energy storage systems, including planning; site mobilization; bulk earthworks; detailed civil works; inground earthing; mechanical installation of equipment and electrical cabling works and pre-commissioning works and punch list close-out.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and provide daily feedback on construction progress and weekly reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures.
- Study product documentation to familiarize yourself with the core equipment, including manuals and internal procedures.
- Work with client teams and meet contractual obligations, communicating regularly with internal project, safety, engineering, commissioning, and business administration personnel.
- Oversee site staff, principal contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule are met.
- Evaluate construction methods to determine cost-effectiveness of plans, implementing changes as necessary.
- Respond to specific conditions on site, such as schedule delays, emergencies, or other problems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- Experience managing similar high-voltage electrical projects, previous experience with energy storage systems or power station, switchyard, or transmission line projects connecting to the grid.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other basic computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong attitude to promote and develop a growing team.
