About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our cleaning operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving exceptional cleanliness and customer satisfaction across multiple sites.

Your duties will include coordinating cleaning activities, mentoring your team, and ensuring high-quality standards. You will also serve as a representative of the organization on new client sites, making a great first impression each time.

This is a PM Team Leader role, with hours from Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm, and every second Saturday to answer calls. You will use your own transport to arrive at work and drive a company vehicle to support, lead, motivate, and uphold quality standards across sites.

Given our significant organic growth, the role involves supporting staff, solving operational challenges, managing rostering, and driving change management initiatives through new IT systems, procedures, and software.

We seek a leader who can balance operational oversight with inspiring and supporting our teams as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and Motivate: Inspire your team to deliver top-tier cleaning services through efficiency, teamwork, and clear communication.
  2. Quality Control: Perform cleaning tasks and inspect work to ensure standards are met. Address issues promptly and professionally.
  3. Training & Onboarding: Share expertise with new hires, providing tools and knowledge for success.
  4. Safety & Compliance: Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring safe work practices.
  5. Equipment Management: Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting issues to the relevant manager.
  6. Feedback & Improvement: Collaborate with leadership to suggest process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a cleaning role; supervisory experience preferred.
  • The ability to motivate a team and foster a positive work environment. Effective communication skills.
  • An attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass drug and background checks.
  • A willingness to obtain relevant qualifications like a White Card and other certifications.
