Maintenance Planner Scheduler


Role Overview:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled planner scheduler to join the maintenance team at a Coal Processing Prep Plant in Moura, QLD.

The successful candidate will oversee planning and scheduling of maintenance work for plant and equipment, and manage the development of systems to enhance efficiency of maintenance processes.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks to ensure efficient utilization of labor parts and equipment resources.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date schedules for plant and equipment, reviewing and reporting on actual work completed with recommendations for corrective action.
  • Regularly update and review Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data to ensure accurate and relevant information is available for component history tracing failure forecasting schedule preventive maintenance budgeting and increased equipment availability tracking costs.
  • Ensure that work practices and systems within the maintenance team align with Anglo American's Safety Health Environment and Community Management System and statutory requirements by monitoring and reviewing activities to minimize negative environmental impact and exposure to safety health environment community-related risks to employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical trade qualification diesel fitting boilermaking etc.
  • Demonstrated experience working at a coal handling prep plant CHPP.
  • Experience with fixed plant operations.
  • Experience troubleshooting crushing conveyor and hydraulic systems.
