Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Dawson Mine. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of our coal processing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and plan maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize equipment utilization.
  • Develop and maintain accurate schedules and records to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Mechanical trade qualification (diesel fitting, boilermaking, etc.)
  • Proven experience working at a coal handling prep plant (CHPP)
  • Experience with fixed plant operations and troubleshooting crushing, conveyor, and hydraulic systems
  • Supervisor and risk facilitator competencies (S1, 2, 3 & G2) desirable
