Regulatory Role Overview

The Regulatory Specialist position involves playing a key part in maintaining high standards of regulatory decision-making, risk assessment, and data-driven approaches. The successful candidate will promote an intelligence culture that supports targeted compliance efforts.

This role is responsible for:

  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legislative interpretations and their implications for regulatory governance, operational processes, organisational decision-making, and reporting.
  • Managing, promoting, and implementing regulatory policies, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure alignment with organisational strategy.
  • Capturing, creating, and disseminating regulatory knowledge within the organisation.
  • Championing regulatory and technical knowledge within the organisation.
  • Providing advice on appropriate regulatory decision-making practices to ensure compliance with organisational regulatory and risk strategies.
  • Managing regulatory documents in organisational platforms.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements, regulatory governance frameworks, and embed regulatory practices.
  • Developing expertise, analysis, and recommendations on complex matters and identifying opportunities to address emergent issues.
