Job Title: Engineering Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Geologist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • This is an opportunity to work on a wide range of ground engineering and civil construction projects across Australia.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering, geological processes, and site investigation works.
  • They will be responsible for conducting geological desk studies, managing geotechnical investigations, and performing soil and rock slope stability assessments.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to convey findings to various audiences, are essential.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A good understanding of Australian industry and technical standards.
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in engineering geology or a related field.
  • Broad engineering geology and geohazards competency, with a working knowledge of geotechnical engineering.
  • Good understanding of ground conditions, drilling, and site investigation works.
  • Working knowledge of geotechnical processes and software such as Geostudio and Rocscience suites.
  • Solid IT skills, including 2-D/3-D geological modeling, Microsoft Office, and database maintenance.
  • TfNSW or TMR Slope Risk Assessor accreditation is highly desirable.
  • Client-focused, team-oriented, and professional approach.
