Job Overview

Desktop Network EUC IT Support Role

The purpose of this role is to provide technical assistance and support to users with desktop and network issues within an enterprise environment. As a Desktop Network EUC IT Support professional, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving desktop hardware, software, and network problems.

This includes providing technical support via various channels such as phone, email, or in-person interactions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating desktop operating systems, applications, and drivers. You will also configure and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, implement and maintain active directory policies and user accounts, perform hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs, and monitor and diagnose network connectivity issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Maintain and update desktop operating systems, applications, and drivers.
  • Configure and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.
  • Implement and maintain active directory policies and user accounts.
  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Monitor and diagnose network connectivity issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in troubleshooting desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with wireless technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user management.
  • Understanding of hardware components and peripherals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
