Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to work within a high volume and fast-paced credit team, providing valuable support to the Credit Risk Team Leader with the process for accounts after final demands.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Credit Recovery Specialist, who will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with customers to negotiate payment arrangements and ensure adherence to agreed terms
  • Evaluating cost of collection fees against debt to decide recovery action
  • Investigating disputes raised by customers
  • Assisting with lodging and issuing court documents
  • Conducting skip traces when unable to locate debtors
  • Managing the credit default process
  • Lodging caveat and PPSR
  • Initiating and managing insurance claims when appropriate
  • Preparing files for the monthly bad debt report for write off, and recording any recoveries after the debt has been written off

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working within a similar credit or collections role, or an end-to-end AR/Credit role and a desire to learn the legal stages
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
