Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated groundwater professional to join our technical team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Hydrogeologist to advance their career by applying practical hydrogeology knowledge and leading projects across various industries.

The successful candidate will have 6-12 years of industry experience as a hydrogeologist, including consultancy experience. They will also hold an appropriate Engineering or Science tertiary qualification.

Key responsibilities will include conceptualization, impact assessment, investigation, and modelling (analytical/numerical) tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background in these areas.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and team effectiveness. They will also be able to develop and maintain client relationships to grow our presence.

Requirements
  • 6-12 years of industry experience as a hydrogeologist
  • Appropriate Engineering or Science tertiary qualification
  • Strong technical background in hydrogeological conceptualization, impact assessment, investigation, and modelling
  • Practical knowledge of data collection and fieldwork management
  • Commitment to Health and Safety
  • Experience managing large technical projects within scope, time, and budget constraints
  • Strong communication skills for overseeing staff and coordinating teams
  • Ability to provide technical advice to clients and team members
  • Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
