Mining

We have over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals supporting the industry's decarbonisation efforts. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you'll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects.

What you'll do:

Your work will vary from providing comprehensive assessments of groundwater resources to practical engineering solutions for mining projects. Your hydrogeological input into our mine water management projects will cover site investigations, monitoring, dewatering, and environmental assessments. Day-to-day will also involve;

  • Conducting hydrogeological assessments including site investigations, data interpretation, groundwater conceptualisations, and reporting.
  • Providing technical expertise in groundwater investigations, management, and impact assessment.
  • Developing groundwater assessments and drafting technical reports.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their challenges and provide trusted advice.
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of hydrogeologists, engineers, and environmental specialists.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Hydrogeologist with strong consulting or mining industry experience to join our Mine Advisory team. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy applying your site knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality solutions, we'd love to hear from you. Ideally, you will come with the following qualifications and experience;

  • Bachelor's degree in a Geoscience discipline or Environmental Sciences.
  • 2-5 years of professional hydrogeological experience (comparable experience will be considered).
  • Proven experience in consulting or the mining industry.
  • Site experience with hydrogeological investigations, dewatering operations, monitoring programs, drill supervision, and/or water sampling.
  • A willingness to undertake fieldwork.
