Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, Monday to Friday only.

As an Administrative Assistant in a surgical practice, you will have a genuine variety of tasks including PA to Surgeons, Administration & Finance, and Patient Concierge.

You will oversee patient bookings and day-to-day flow for our two dynamic surgeons, support the Practice Manager in Financial Management and People Management capacity, drive New Business Development initiatives, develop and implement new Practice Protocols, manage employees, rostering and performance management, financial reporting, and liaise with Patients and 3rd Party Providers.

The ideal candidate will be an agile and lateral thinker, able to develop strategies and confident to introduce new procedures and protocols to enhance our Practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing employee performance and developing staff
  • Developing and implementing new practice protocols
  • Financial reporting and budgeting
  • Liaising with patients and healthcare providers

We are looking for someone who is proactive, has excellent communication skills, and can work well under pressure. You will be required to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

An Administrative Assistant in this position should possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism, high-level of accuracy and attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
