Our hospital is seeking a Theatre Orderly to ensure the smooth operation of our surgical services. As part of our preoperative team, you will work closely with surgeons, specialist doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre prioritizing patient safety and dignity at all times.
  • Provide effective patient handling and positioning to ensure optimal comfort and well-being.
  • Set up of theatre preparing equipment and supplies to meet the needs of each procedure.
  • Maintain a safe patient environment adhering to infection control practices and cleaning protocols during procedures.
  • Support nursing staff collaborating as a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Theatre Orderly experience within the healthcare industry desirable.
  • Working with Children check and Police Check required.
  • Commitment to quality patient care demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills essential for effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster Monday – Friday AM & PM shifts.
