Fire Protection Engineer

This position involves servicing, testing, and programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems, and associated equipment on clients' sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with relevant industry procedures and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and address any fire risks or hazards present at a client's site.
- Test and service fire protection and safety systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Install and commission new fire protection and safety systems, including fire panels and alarm systems.
- Provide expert advice on the selection and installation of fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
Requirements:
- Current electrical license.
- Unrestricted work rights.
- Sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
- Proven experience working as an electrical technician in the fire protection industry.
