Financial Analyst Position

We're seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Business Advisory team at Moore Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for producing financial reports, preparing management accounts, and preparing BAS and tax returns for a variety of entities.

About the Role
- Produce and maintain financial reports using Xero, MYOB, and Reckon software.
- Prepare tax returns, FBT, and financial statements for different business entity types.
- Prepare BAS and IAS returns.
- Calculate and reconcile payroll tax.
- Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and KPIs for clients.
- Assist in the development of junior colleagues.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that will allow you to progress in your career with solid training, support, and technical exposure. You will work closely with the Director and other senior team members, providing advice and ad hoc advisory work to deliver a range of accounting solutions to a diverse and growing client base.
About You
The ideal candidate will have established accounting experience, a relevant tertiary qualification, and be studying or aspiring to achieve CA or CPA qualifications. You will have experience preparing tax returns for a variety of entities for small to medium-sized businesses and the ability to generate financial statements and management reports.
