Inventory Planning Expert

This role involves driving inventory planning processes to ensure accurate and efficient management of stock levels.

  • Lead monthly demand planning cycles to refine forecasts based on sales data, market trends, and new product launches.
  • Implement strategies to maintain balanced inventory levels, proactively managing stock to reduce overstock and stockouts while considering supplier lead times and production variability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including warehouse, supply chain, sales, e-commerce, and finance to align inventory management with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Utilize SAP, IBP, Excel, and HANA reporting tools to extract insights, track performance metrics, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze commercial data and financial impacts to optimize inventory strategies and support business goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Demand Planning team, fostering growth and accountability.
Requirements

We seek an experienced Inventory Planning professional with 3-5 years' experience in similar sectors. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets and manage extensive SKU portfolios accurately.
  • Proficiency in SAP, IBP, Excel, and HANA reporting tools.
  • Self-motivation and confidence working independently while providing clear leadership and guidance to your team.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating adaptability and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail, aligning inventory strategies with broader business objectives.
