Release and Configuration Management Expert

We are seeking an experienced Release and Configuration Management expert to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing the release process through a software configuration management plan. They will also manage release schedules, milestones, and dependencies for timely delivery of software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the release process through a software configuration management plan.
  • Manage release schedules, milestones, and dependencies for timely delivery of software releases.
  • Monitor installations and ensure proper functioning.
  • Analyze and report anomalies encountered during installations and follow up on their resolution.
  • Report on successful installations and operation.
  • Participate in project progress meetings and provide updates on progress.
  • Continuously improve release and configuration management processes through automation and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Solid experience with CI/CD methodologies, workflows, configuration management, and corresponding tools.
  • Experience with SCM for large, complex software-based systems.
  • Proficiency with Configuration Management tools, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Strong administration skills in Oracle.
  • Familiarity with IT concepts on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Development experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management, customers, and partners.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
