Job Opportunity:

This is a high-impact role within the Operations Centre team, responsible for monitoring thousands of alarms across Australia.

  • Action all alarm events and incoming telephone calls in a timely manner with an appropriate response to meet customer expectations
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Work collaboratively with different areas within the business
  • Process and handle alarm signals and events
  • Answer incoming phone calls and process customer requests or inquiries in accordance with current Monitoring processes and procedures
  • Make outbound calls to customers to investigate reasons for alarm triggers
  • Update account information and schedules

The successful candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be a team player who can work autonomously, and have a career-focused attitude. They must be available to work a rotating 24/7 roster.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy
  • Previous contact centre experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes
  • Think critically and act quickly in high-pressure situations
  • Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and night shifts

Benefits Package:

  • Competitive remuneration package: $76,000 + superannuation
  • Rotating roster allowing for great work-life balance: working 4 days on & 4 days off, less than 180 days per year
  • 12-hour shifts between 6 am and 6 pm, with two day shifts followed by 24 hours before two night shifts begin
  • 5 weeks of annual leave (if you take 4 days annual leave, you get 12 days off due to the roster's structure)

This role can work well around flexible studying and after 12 months, there is an opportunity to have studies paid for by the employer.
