Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will work alongside senior physiotherapists and the CDCRS multidisciplinary team to assess, plan and implement evidence-based rehabilitation for groups and individual patients living in the community with chronic disease, in particular chronic lung disease and/or chronic heart failure.

This is a district-wide position, based at North Ryde and providing pulmonary and heart failure rehabilitation to patients across NSLHD including RNS, Mona Vale and Brookvale Community Health Centres, Ryde and Hornsby Hospitals.

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for:

  • Assessing, planning and implementing evidence-based rehabilitation for groups and individual patients;
  • Working alongside senior physiotherapists and the team to achieve shared goals;
  • Demonstrating ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice;
  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive working environment.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria:

  • Qualifications recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated relevant postgraduate clinical experience and community health experience with a broad interest in all areas of physiotherapy practice including aged care and chronic disabilities.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills.
